About this Site
I started this website to share my passion - finely printed books. Most of the books shown on this site were printed on hand-made paper using hand set type on a hand powered press. Photographs cannot convey the crispness and texture of the paper, the color of the ink, or the impression of the type into the paper. If you have never examined a fine press book from any of the presses shown on this site, find a bookseller or collector who is willing to let you examine one.
